Well done, Mr. Doenges. I hope we can move along now. Will we see another full page ad in the EE expressing the same? I think it will reach a wider audience.
Dear Brad:
I am extremely impressed by your willingness to accept responsiblity for an absolutely tragic incident. I cannot condone, ever, the fact that a non-profit entity partnerd with a for-profit business for that company’s financial gain and, in doing so, completely betrayed the public trust. People were physically injured at that event, Brad. Rather than creating unity, we have a city of folks who are simmering with anger, and I fear that anger may impact other not-for-profit groups during what is already a terribly difficult time for them.
However, mistakes are made, and you have finally stated that you are accountable and this type of action will never be repeated. I’m just one citizen, but I do accept your apology.
There will likely be those who believe that this post is just an attempt to save your business, but I firmly disagree.
The sincerity and the concise nature in which you so simply said “I’m sorry.” indicates that you’re being completely forthright to me.
Thank you for standing up and doing the right thing. I only wish that this was what the citizens of our community had read on Sunday in the EE.
[...] days after the event, the Ford dealer issued an apology. It is EXACTLY what this situation needed and will end a lot of the fallout from this event. I [...]
I have much respect for you doing the right thing. You apology ring sincere and true. Thank you for your humbleness and willingness to acknowledge the voices in the community. I think you have turned the corner on this event by doing this. I have always thought that failures are the greatest opportunities by businesses to gain actually consumer loyalty by rectifying the situation–and I think you have done that.
BRAD,
YOU ARE THE BEST! I AM PROUD OF OUR ASSOCIATION AND WILL STAND BY YOU . THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HONEST AND SINCERE POSITION ON THIS ISSUE.
I think we have a little bit of a cover up here. The following is Brad’s original posting of this “letter of apology.” Note the word “fiasco” has been changed to “Event” in the current version. I think this may have been done after he got the first group of comments accepting his apology.
It was his use of the word “fiasco” that made me want to accept his apology, and now that has been altered.
The Buck Stops Here!
I take full responsibility for the Price Tower fiasco.
I made a serious error in judgment.
I knew the risk, and I signed off on it.

Denise, When are you going to apologize?
Hey! They are taking off comments from earlier… they sure took mine off and others!
NOT COOL>
Hmmm, why the change from “fiasco” to “event” ?? Why are comments being deleted? Lets not backtrack here… I also noticed on Facebook that Mr. Oldroyd is still claiming success due to selling 4 trucks since the drop. So what was it? A fiasco, an event, or a successful promotion?
I DON’T THINK HE REALLY NEEDED TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT HE WAS NOT THE ONE WHO PUSHED AND KNOCK PEOPLE OVER, IT WAS SOME OF THE GREAT PEOPLE OF OUR TOWN, HE DID NOT TELL YOU TO STAND IN THE 100 DEGREE WEATHER I THINK YOU PEOPLE JUST OVER REACTED TO AN EVENT THAT YOU WERE NOT HAPPY WITH I TRUELY THINK IF IT WASN’T SO HOT OUTSIDE YOU WOULD NOT BE GRIPING!! I THOUGHT THE BANNER WAS WELL PLAYED ON THEIR PART CAUSE THEY DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GONNA DO DROP A F-150 OFF PRICE TOWER AND THEY DID, ALL OF THEM! I WILL STILL BUY MY NEXT TRUCK OR CAR AT DOENGES BECAUSE I THINK THOSE GROUP OF PEOPLE THEY HAVE THERE ARE A GOOD GROUP. THE BLAME FALLS STRICKLY IN OUR LAPS.
Apology Accepted obviously isn’t in Marketing…
There’s a reason Bruno is number one in the Box Office.
There’s a reason Borat was too…or that Punked did so well…or that PR stunts through the ages have worked.
Fiasco - yes, to the pissed off people who either didnt get a balloon, didnt get a t-shirt, or came down in the heat (it would have been hot either way, FYI)..to some people, regardless - it didnt live up to their expectations. I heard on the radio interview where they said “This may not be what you think, but if you want a good deal on F-150’s, come down”…and the Examiner story Thursday was what cast my doubt.
Event - of course… no one - mad or not, could contest that!
Successful Promotion? Yep…that too. Let’s face it. As much as you folks would like to think bitching like little school girls would hurt the business, it won’t.
Do you think all the people duped in Borat or Bruno could convince us not to see the movie? Not a chance! Thing is, if I were buying an F150… I would know who had them on sale!!!
Brad apologized to the people he offended, and I think he probably meant that… but it’s not an acknowledgment that all of Bartlesville is mad…because folks, like it or not…they aren’t!
Still, a business owner certainly would hope not to offend ANYONE!
Hey Meowlicious:
Hey! They are taking off comments from earlier… they sure took mine off and others! NOT COOL>
You’re not cool!!!
You’re Dead Wrong and you owe the viewers an apology for staring a rumor. Meowlicious you are a Negative Wizard dieing to tarnish a man’s image. Stir the pot. Not necessary.
Nothing was taken down…you made a comment on two separate posts.
Your first post comment I believe was the : “What the Heck Happened at Price Tower etc.
Your second post comment was the “Victory Has a 100 Fathers and Defeat is an Orphan”
Nothing has been taken down.
I have purchased you a ticket to the moron-a-thon that is coming to town next week. Front row seats. You will have a blast
umm, cowboys2233, I think your Caps Lock is STUCK You may want to have someone come over a take a look at that for you.
Um, Dave the Okie…I wish this Fiasco/Event even came close to Bruno/Borat/Punk’d: I think we would have called it a success. Thats the whole problem! Not to rehash, but we were promised something spectacular and got, well, nothing. A successful event wouldn’t have ticked people off enuff to post 70+ negative comments to the EE, several more to this blog, garnered nat’l negative attention in the blogosphere, or created a “Doenges Ford Sucks” Facebook group. It is a common misconseption that “there is no such thing as bad publicity” Thats only true if you are Larry Flynt or Madonna, NOT if you are a beloved family business with a long legacy of good works. So, Dave the Okie, where’d you get your degree in marketing?
This was simply a total failure to meet expectations which is always damaging to a business (if only reputation). Mr. Doenges seems to have recognized that, but it appears some of his supporters (maybe his marketing dept) have failed to recognize.
The original apology post this morning said, “I take full responsibility for the Price Tower fiasco.” The word “fiasco” was changed to “event” at some point. Why?
Frankly, I moved on after the original apology post, and now am just curious why he seems to be backtracking.
Hello Rbno-spam.com (Is this your dog’s name?)
Your sophomoric comments remind me of a sign I saw in front of a church, it read as follows.
“Some people look to find fault in another person as thought it was a buried treasure”
If you are so worried about a word or two why don’t just call Brad Doenges up and ask him! His number listed in the phone book. Is yours?
Since you have all of the answers and none of the solutions I’m sure you could get his ear.
Jerks make up 3% of the population.
Out of every 100 people there are 3 jerks.
You should be proud to be in that 3%!
If anyone agrees with me shake your head yes!
Apology Accepted, I got my marketing degrees (yes thats plural) here in the state. You yourself said they have apparently sold four trucks since the drop… that sounds like success to me if I were a dealer. They did get 70+ negative comments on EE, but they also received several (mine included) which weren’t published. This morning at breakfast, there were several people laughing at the Off The Cuffer’s (as usual). My point is, as someone else pointed out - they reached an audience of ALL of Northern Oklahoma with television audience who are impartial to the fact 2000 people stood out in the heat (and probably only 300 of them are pissed about it). Face it…ALL OF NORTHERN OKLAHOMA WAS LAUGHING AT YOU…and they CONTINUE laughing at the fact you’re upset about it. The rest of you pissed off folks that didnt go (and some of you dont even live here) are the same group that bitch when wind changes direction. You’d all be pissed if they did drop it over how your kids “could have been injured”…now your pissed because it was hot outside? And the “Blogosphere”? Give me a break. There were less than 10 people twittering about it… look it up. Folks like you and Meowolicious are why people make fun of Oklahoma.
I think it’s funny that Apology Accepted thinks that anyone who doesnt agree with him must be part of a conspiracy… is it impossible for to think that people don’t agree with you or are you really as arrogant as you seem?
I’ll tell you why fiasco was changed to event. To define fiasco- a complete and ignominious failure. What failed the banner dropped successfully, it recieved MULTIPLE press spots, YOUR STILL TALKING ABOUT IT, some are laughing about it, they have sold vehicles since, 2,500 people were there to see it. I
can imagine there checklist now.
Elaborate plan with vague outcome. CHECK
Letting all of the local area hear of event. CHECK
Misleading events until reveal. CHECK
Order banner. CHECK
Large out come. CHECK
Succesfully drop banner. CHECK
Reveal the “AH-HA” moment. CHECK
Drop baloons hand out tshirts. CHECK
Mission succesful- hardly a fiasco to me.
Dosen’t sound fair to the people that sacrificed time, energy, money, and health, to call it a fiasco. Whether they intentionally dupped you or not they accomplished what they were set out to do.
Chris Murphy…. yes they are removing comments, because if they had left all the comments I had made right here, this would be number THREE!
When I saw the apology it seemed quite sincere and I was ready to let the whole thing go. It isn’t often that you see a full and sincere apology from a business.
Now I see that they are still trying to spin it, just like they were doing over the weekend. Changing the apology, even a little bit shows that they don’t really mean it. I also can’t believe they are allowing some here to make personal attacks on others.
The promotion may have “worked”, but it was still a fiasco. It was a ill conceived idea that was poorly managed. It made tons of people mad and endangered people. People were promised something fun and entertaining if they came and they got something dull. By sheer freak accident my wife even got a balloon, but the whole thing was still dull and silly.
Worse than the fiasco at the Price Tower was the damage control that they tried to do. Rather than step up and accept responsibility, the Doenges marketing people tried to spin it. They shut down the social sites and deleted comments. Then they tried to claim that the response was wonderful. I have yet to actually meet a person who had anything positive to say about the fiasco at the Price Tower.
I can knock off two birds with one stone:
This is addressed to MEOWLICIOUS and CHRIS:
On http://www.bradyourcwarguy.com no one is Deleting Comments.
Please control your spin.
I cannot speak for the other social sites. But I’m a regular follower of this blog and nothing has been deleted. People, like you and me are permitted to post comments.
Unless you can prove that the other “Spin” is coming from the Doenges marketing people you would be better served to use the term “I speculate”
Here is emphatic proof that nothing has been deleted.
The accuser “Meow” has not focused on the facts and is creating unnecessary harmful spin.
Chris, “Mewo” sucked you in as well! Yep…sure did.
I guess now I will have to buy Chris a ticket to the moron-a-thon as well. Dang.

Hey Mairking_uber_fail, just thought I would let you know what a hateful comment you made about the Moulder Motors guys…. remember the ones with the fun commercials that were entertaining and silly? They got our attention didn’t they? Well, you chose to ridicule them like the small-minded person you are… Want to know why they closed down? Wondering where they work now? Feel so much better than them right about now don’t you? Well Jiggity Jiggity Jake has cancer and he is unable to work and has been for quite some time. So… the guy is dying and you are making fun of him for it… Nice Job.
Brad, I think he best thing you could do about now is get rid of your marketing director who is so full of himself… and yes I know that because I have had dealings with him recently. Let him go work in another town and lick his wounds… possibly he will be the better for it.
You need to save face and have another shindig and feed everyone in town with a nice sandwich and a coke… I’m sure you will choose Dink’s because everyone else does and no one in this town ever thinks very hard… Then stand your rich butt out there all day long and admit to every single person you screwed up and your sorry. Give balloons to the kids, have a clown and some pony rides and be done with it.

To Chris Murphy,
I will reply only this once since you are one of those who are writing abusive personal attacks. You have now repeated one of those attacks toward me.
I did not claim that comments were deleted from “these blogs”. I stated that they were deleted from the social networking sites. I find your attempt to mischaracterize my comment to be highly dishonest and disrespectful.
I do not care about “meow” (or you, for that matter). My comment was meant for Mr. Doenges about what I saw over the weekend and what appears to still be happening. I think that Doenges allowing people like you to sit on here and write sick attacks toward customers and other members of the Bartlesville community is very sad. It is the likelihood of sick attacks like yours that caused me to withhold my last name.
By the way, you claim that no comments are deleted from this site. However, I notice that your first comment above was originally titled under a different posting name. Not exactly a deletion, but close. The comment was originally posted by “admin” with a gravatar picture of Brad Doenges. If you are an employee of Doenges as you initially implied with that comment, then it is even worse that they would allow such an employee to make these personal attacks against customers.
Thank you,
Chris (last name withheld)
Former Doenges Customer
Chris Murphy… you are right, my bad. They didn’t delete my comment, I lost it and it is my fault, but you didn’t have to be so UGLY!
You must be a very angry person, and I know it is hard to carry that much rage. I have seen it eat people up before, so I forgive you.
Meowlicious:
I accept your gracious apology.
You are mistaken. I’m not an angry person filled with rage. Quite the opposite.
However I believe in “Frontier Justice” on the internet.
You were reckless in attacking the integrity and creditability of the Doenges blog. Not once, but twice. The intention of my second response to your comment was to make sure, in plain English, you understood my message. Mission Accomplished.
Meow , if you stick your neck out on the internet and you can’t prove what you are saying you are setting yourself up for criticism. Loose lips always sink ships.
I stumbled on to his blog one day and liked the straight forward approach, the information and car talk. Then all this nonsense the last couple of days started to get out of hand and I decided to step up to the plate.
I don’t talk much on or off the net unless someone or something is out of control, talks (way) out of school or they just don’t have a clue what they are talking about.
.
Thank You

I have yet to see any attacks, and that impresses me. Well besides Meowlicious attacking on Chris Oldroyd. Everything else has been a pretty civil discussion. I think its genius how this seed was planted by the Doenges Adminstration, and people are still talking about it. Think about it, Its been in the newspaper endlessly since it was announced, on news stations, and social networking sites, even if they didnt expect this outcome. They have been a household name for the past week or so. People are talking about this more than American Idle or Obama- thats a first in some time. I skip the news to read the comments on here and Examiner Enterprise. Even at my place of work we cant help but to discuss everything, how we loved and how we hate it.
What were you owed? Each day is a gift and not a given right. You were owed nothing. The only thing they promised you is that we would witness something amazing. This is nothing short. The town is split. There are three groups of people in this debacle. One group that finds humor and is dissapointed to see people upset about a pretty minimal event, but understand being upset from the misleading (hardly what I consider lieing). I am included in this group. The ones who are in a heated debate thinking that they were owed something by going to this event. Finally, the ones who are completely indifferent that have heard about it. Here is the interesting part, all groups know that their f150s have dropped in price… I have to say it… GENIUS
I have been following this debate off and on for several days, and have swung back and forth in my positions as new information comes out.
The facts seem to be that a lot of people feel deceived by the TRUCK DROP promtion, and that number is growing as words in Brad’s apology are changed, and it is discovered FORD and DOENGES employess are posting positive comments without identifying their affilation.
I now hear that someone may be trying to get the IPO addresses of all the positive respones to see how much and how long that deception has gone on.
Look this is a disaster and fiasco. If a promotion angers even a few people enough that they will not buy a car from Doenges this is terrible. I think with the viral and long-lasting nature of information on the Internet this is not going away, and will really do long-term damage to Brad’s business and his standing in the community. Brad I want only the best for you and your company. Come clean. Tell the entire story and make amends.
“didyouhearthat?”, where did meowlicious “attack” Chris Oldroyd? That poster has not mentioned Chris Oldroyd referred to him (or anyone else) in any way. The only person who mentioned him merely claimed that Oldroyd mentioned selling cars. That is not an “attack”.
However, calling people “moron” IS a personal attack. Stating, “you are a Negative Wizard dieing to tarnish a man’s image”, is also a personal attack. Also, Iying about what another person posted is not civil and is another form of personal attack (which you have now done). There are a couple of people here who are attacking anyone who dares to say anything negative about the “event”.
Nobody claimed that they were “owed” anything. They merely took a long time Bartlesville business at their word. People were promised a fun, entertaining, and safe event. The vast majority of those who attended did not receive that.
didyouhearthat, you are not helping. You are hurting Doenges with your false statement. Brad Doenges wrote a very honest sounding and impressive apology. However, comments like yours and the other attack dogs here make me second guess that.
Seems like all the members The “Morality Police” Force in Bartlesville will not be satisfied unless and until they have completed the character assassination(s) of the Doenges Family.
Then they will form a mob of vigilantes to tar and feather Brad Doenges and drag him down Frank Phillips Boulevard behind a 2009 Ford Platinum F-150 pickup.
I have always considered the Bartlesville community as civilized and level headed.
It only takes one or two kooks__________________ ________(you can finish this statement in any way or form that melts your butter.)
There is perhaps one too many extremists in the community.
Assassination does have two “ass” (es) in the name.
Get a life!
I’m not angry at this, but I am disappointed in the behavior of Doegnes and others.
No I did not go see the “truck” drop nor do I think the people who did are “stupid”
Comments were made by Doenges and their employees that lead the public to believe an actual truck would be dropped. Fox23 even said they’d be “dropping a Ford F150 from the Price Tower” while they were broadcasting from the street party.
This is not savvy advertising nor a succesful promotion. There was another dealership in town who created bad blood among the citizens, and lo and behold they are no longer in business.
Selling 4 cars since the promotion does not equal a promotion gone good, selling 40 would.
I do not know Brad or anyone at Doegnes, nor do I care to at this point as the small amount of trust that I afford everyone has been betrayed by “white” lies and misleading statements.
Misleading the public is never a good idea, and those who sit back and scoff at the people who did go is just as sad as the very misleading promotion that was given to this disaster.
The apology, while nicely contrive, sounds hollow to me, adding “Life is not measured by the breath we take but it’s breath taking moments.” at the end only reinforces that feeling.
Really want to make it up to everyone? Drop all your prices $4500, have a drawing for a real truck and apologize in public, on the radio, in the paper etc.
“Seriously”…you’re still not getting the play of words. Doenges Ford is saying they dropped the F-150 from Price Tower…by $4500… so if Fox 23 said that, they were correct. And Fox 23 was not duped…if you watch their story of the event - it was shot FROM THE ROOF BY A CAMERAMAN STANDING NEXT TO THE guys dropping the banner. So…give us a break…no one in the media was duped…they knew about it…as did the Examiner Enterprise (the story ran on Thursday casting doubt in the public’s eye obviously indicates this).
My neighbor works for Honda here in town, and he said they are all saying they thought it was a brilliant promotion even there, and by his estimation four trucks in two days was impressive.
Your sense of entitlement is what’s wrong with America…”really want to make it up to everyone…drop all your prices $4500…”….give me a F’n break. One minute you say you’d never buy, then you encourage the prices to be lowered. I bet you’re the type of jerk off that complains at restaurants just to get free food.
And one last thing…we go to the Doenges Ford Indians game because our son played for them… in Doenges Stadium…where the Doenges have given their time and money for years. We see Brad there (he lives in town). You’ll find the Doenges logo in about every sponsored community event you see in this town. It’s easy to cast stones, but when is the last time YOU gave anything to this community besides your asinine opinion about how things “should be”? My bet…never.
Grabber 69
Bravo! Bravo!
You represent the majority of the civilized community in Bartlesville.
“Seriously” too bad you major in minor things.
You proudly represent the vocal minority for sure.
Grabber69 - I was referring to the 5:30 newscast , it was not a play on words it was stated very clearly that they would drop a truck and it would be interesting to see the destruction it would cause when it hit the ground.
I have no sense of entitlement, they owe me nothing, as damage to me or mine was not done. It might have started off as a play on words, but they went to far, as others have noted. Never got free food in my life, and usually tip double. But I see you know how to play the game.
And I give to my community daily working with premature infants, which is not my full time job. Good thing you didn’t bet money or was that a play on words you learned from Brad? Nice to see that civility Bartlesville is known for coming out from you.
Still wouldn’t buy and didn’t buy when I bought my vehicle last year due to research I conducted. I don’t base my purchases on name branding or personal relationships.
As for my SUGGESTIONS as to what they could do for a mea cupla, they were merely that, suggestions. And for all the “good” Brad has done around town, all these things don’t make this farce better for the people who were injured fighting for balloons.
Prescott - Nice to know who you work for…
“Seriously”
Since I don’t know your name I can’t say if we have met or not.

Meowlicious posted this on What the Heck Happened at Price Tower?
“Brad, I think he best thing you could do about now is get rid of your marketing director who is so full of himself… and yes I know that because I have had dealings with him recently. Let him go work in another town and lick his wounds… possibly he will be the better for it”
According to EE Chris Oldroyd is the marketing director. Hence my remark.
Maybe my words were not carefully chosen. Attack may not be the best word for the situation, but anyone who wanted me personally fired I would take as an attack.
I am not merely taking any side on this. I am not trying to help or hurt ANYBODY, I am here as everyone else sharing my opinion, even if causing me or you or Doenges redicule. I went I was there, stood in the heat like everyone else. I will not call someone out to be stupid (nor have done so or tried to imply) for the fact that I truly wanted to believe the truck would fall the 190 or so feet as well, but I did know it could not be done safely, and I know that a small town busniess could not allow a $50,000 piece of inventory be a writeoff.. as much as I hoped I figure it wasnt happening.. I was there for my AH-HA moment, but still would of loved to see a truck falling.
Its obvious the reason they didn’t want to drop a truck was only cost oreintated. The cost would be astronomical figuring the truck at $40-50k I believe would only be half of the bill, and honeslty I dont think anyone would rush to Doenges to purchase a truck because they dropped one 190 feet- would not make any difference to me, just as dropping a banner makes no difference to me.
I guess what bothers me is the fact that people saw the bait and switch or the big finally (if you will), but they still feel the are owed something to the community even or themselves which they seem to be more worried about. No one can deny what they do for the community, its pretty astounding, to say they don’t care or they owe the community more is unfair. Ever go see a baseball game at Doenges Stadium, how about OK Mozart festival, ever listen to OK CAR FIX? Thank Doenges for that, their commitment is strong, but not flawless.
Just so ya know, I don’t work for Doenges Brothers.
Wow, I’m glad that all these people have nothing better to do than belly ache over a stupid publicity stunt.
The apology was nice but not necessary. It’s too bad people got hurt or kids got disappointed but where is the accountability? Why such a sense of entitlement? Why so self-righteous? If it was too hot for your disabled grandma to be out in the heat then why in the heck did you take her out there? If it was to crowded for you to catch one of those balloons and you got hurt, why in the heck didn’t you step back and just watch the event?
I believe that it’s a lot easier to sell papers and get people to read your web site when you have a lot of negative things to say. I think a lot of people are totally overreacting.
I hope the grumpy people get over themselves. Don’t take life so seriously!
Well, now that all their relatives and friends have responded to this apology maybe we can hear from the real people. What an ignorant stunt but ya gotta hand it to them. They got a lot of free publicity.
Dear “Anonymous”:
First, it is fascinating to me that you would demand an apology from someone and not have the decency or good sense to advise them what in the world would make you believe that they owe you, or anyone else, an apology.
What is not fascinating is that such a ridiculous message would be sent by an individual who does not have the character to identify themselves.
Your e-mail was mean-spirited and cowardly. If, in fact, I legitimately owe someone an apology for something that I am not aware of I will very happily apologize. I acknowledge when I have made mistakes and I do not hide from them. I believe in both honesty and accountability.
So, “Anonymous”, if you will please identify yourself and let me know what “offense” has been commited for which I should be held accountable, I will give your thoughts very serious consideration. Until then, you are just another sad soul who cannot state an opinion without remaining in hiding.
I’m so very anxious to hear your response, and I do commit to you that I will take action accordingly.
To “Prescott Scully” -
You reference to my email in the above post “Rbno-spam.com” is troubling. And, no this is not my “dog’s name” (I have no idea what that means?) If you are not an Admin on his site or associated with this blog, what technology did you use to view poster’s emails and why did you post mine? is that a way of threatening me?
You also reference my “sophmoric comments” like calling posters “jerk” “kooks” and “asses” (oh wait that was you, “Prescott Scully”). This blogs privacy policy assures me my info is safe, how did you get it?

“your first comment above was originally titled under a different posting name. Not exactly a deletion, but close. The comment was originally posted by “admin” with a gravatar picture of Brad Doenges. If you are an employee of Doenges as you initially implied with that comment, then it is even worse that they would allow such an employee to make these personal attacks against customers.”
Do you have a response?
If employees / agents of Doenges are posting and personally attacking critics of the dop, I wuld simply ask that they stop. I apologize for “not letting this go” and continuing to post. Mr. Doenges has accepted blame / recognized this was an awful idea and apologized…lets move on.
I was never mad, I laughed when I saw the banner, I knew it had to be some publicity stunt, and there is nothing wrong with that… The Price Tower and Doenges are both a part of our city history. I thought it was funny, I don’t know why so many people are so uptight, I realize a few people got hurt, which is sad, but it wasn’t Brads fault or the Price Towers fault that there were a bunch of greedy, careless people down there. I wish they had just let the kids get the balloons though, I think that would have been a better idea. Hey Brad, next time you need an idea for a marketing stunt, I have a few ideas, that no one could complain about… Anyway, so people all this whining and bickering back and forth, is it really going anywhere? People are still going to buy cars from Doenges, all your whining isn’t going to ruin them and it is so 3rd grade, give me a break. So what, it was a joke!!! Did you really want them to drop the 2.5 ton truck off the PRICE TOWER? Really????
I say “Nice publicity stunt Brad!” Looks like it worked. And I appreciate that it made people aware of the value of the Price Tower…
May God Bless us every one

I wasn’t going to comment as this post was written a while ago, but I found myself asking a lot of questions when I read it. I think it is important to find the blogs that you read regularly and stay involved in the discussion in a regular, relevant and timely manner. So I’ll be back and see whether you’ll be answering :o).
