Honda Accord: A Good Reliable Well-Made Car

January 30, 2009 by Brad - Your Car Guy

In last month’s used car top ten list I said of the Honda Accord that it is one name that is never far from used car top ten lists. To prove myself right, and because a top ten list that doesn’t include the Honda Accord can be immediately disregarded as flawed, I have included the Honda Accord at number two on this month’s top ten list as well. I may own a Toyota dealership, and I truly believe that Toyota makes cars that are in some respects equal and in many respects superior to Hondas, but a good, reliable, well made car is a good, reliable, well made car. And the Honda Accord is, yep, you guessed it, the Accord is a good, well, you know what I’m saying.

Used Honda Accord

Since this is another repeat from last month’s list I will follow the same format as I did with our other repeat appearer the Ford F-150. instead of writing another review I will instead offer some links to other sources of information on used Honda Accords that you, or you, or you, heck all of you, may find useful as consumers. Remember, information about the car you are considering buying is indespensible. The only other step in deciding on your new or used car purchase that even comes close to research and information gathering is the test drive, and research comes first.

I hope you find these sources of informative and that you will find them useful in deciding on the right used car for you.

Used Honda Accord Review Resources

Kelly Blue Book has been a trusted source of automotive information for years. Through this resource you can find reviews, photos, specs, trad-in values, resale values, and much, much more. When people ask what the blue book value is on a car, that should tell you something about the importance of Kelley Blue Book as a source of automotive information. Click the link to see more information than you could hope to read on Honda Accord models ranging all the way back to 1989.

Samarins is another great source of online auto information. They say of the 1998-2002 Honda Accord “Stylish looks, roomy well-designed interiors, high-tech engines, excellent quality and high resale values made the Honda Accord one of the top choices in the mid-size sedan segment.” See what I mean. I bet if they had a top ten list this would be one of the cars on it.

Stop buy carsurvey.org to read tons of new and used Honda Accord reviews from consumer just like you. A sampling of feedback on the 2003 Accord, for instance, shows comments such as “I love this car,”Great car that’s underrated rather than underachieving”, and “Good performance, high reliability, good looks and great value!” as well as comments like “Brake Problems question car’s value”. Read and decide for yourself if this year model Accord would be right for you.

Last but not list we have a video overview of the 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid from the guys at myride.com. Watch and enjoy.

I hope you find this post informative if you are in the market for a used Honda Accord and entertaining even if you aren’t. Either way, with the information compiled here, there is little room to argue that the Honda Accord is undeserving of the #2 spot in Brad Your Car Guy’s Top Ten List of Used Cars for Januray of 2009.
